Best city for living
Copenhagen - the capital of Denmark - has been recognized the best city for a life by results of the research, lead by British magazine Monocle.
At selection in attention some parameters - from an opportunity to buy a glass of good wine at 2 a.m. up to quality of architecture and quantity of cinemas were accepted.
Monocle has highly estimated a compact lay-out of the city, convenient transport system, restaurants, and especially interest in environment protection. Last characteristic has also “put” the city on the first place from the second one, which it occupied in last year’s rating.
Copenhagen has also received a rank of “world capital of design”. The rank of business capital of the world has been given to Madrid, and Paris has been recognized the most cosmopolite city.
Berlin managed to get the glory of the most cultural city of the world, and Japanese Fukuoka became the best city for shopping.
It is necessary to note, that Moscow, New York and London have not entered into the twenty of the best cities.
